76th Republic Day Celebrated with Grandeur by Western Naval Command

The Western Naval Command (WNC) commemorated the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervor and grandeur across all its units, including mission-deployed ships. The celebrations paid tribute to the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution, with ceremonial parades, cultural events, and ship displays marking the occasion.

Ships and submarines, including INS Trikand stationed in Salalah, showcased their spirit by dressing overall, adding to the festive mood. The day also witnessed the presentation of commendations and proficiency awards to personnel for their exceptional contributions. Traditional Barakhanas and special functions were organized in naval schools to foster a sense of unity and pride.

A solemn wreath-laying ceremony at Gaurav Stambh was led by Rear Admiral Rahul Shankar, Flag Officer Doctrine and Concepts (FODAG), as a tribute to the sacrifices of naval personnel in service to the nation.
