Allu Arjun Returns Home After Night in Jail; Wife Sneha Emotional

Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun is back home after spending a night in jail following his detention by Hyderabad Police. The detention was linked to a stampede at Sandhya Theatre, where a woman lost her life, and a child was injured.

The Telangana High Court granted him interim bail late Friday on a bond of ₹50,000, but his release happened early Saturday morning. As Allu Arjun reached home, he hugged his children, Ayaan and Arha, and shared an emotional moment with his wife, Sneha Reddy, who was visibly moved.

Speaking to the media outside his home, the Pushpa 2 star said, “I thank my fans for their support. I am a law-abiding citizen and will fully cooperate with the police. My condolences to the deceased lady’s family. The incident was unintentional, and I deeply regret it.”

The stampede happened during an event at Sandhya Theatre, where the crowd went out of control. The incident caused the death of 39-year-old Revathi and injured her 8-year-old son, who is now in the hospital.

Police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The charges are based on a complaint from Revathi’s family. Initially, Allu Arjun was sent to judicial custody, but he later moved the High Court, which granted him bail for four weeks.

This tragic incident has raised concerns about safety at public events and crowd control measures. Allu Arjun has assured full cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
