Central Railway Mega Block

Mumbai: Central Railway will conduct a Mega Block today, December 1, 2024, to carry out maintenance work. Train services on some routes will be disrupted for a few hours. Here’s what you need to know:

Key Details:

1. CSMT to Vidyavihar (Slow Lines)

   • Block Time: 10:55 am to 3:25 pm

   • Down Slow Trains (towards Vidyavihar):

     Trains leaving CSMT between 10:48 am and 3:18 pm will run on the fast track between CSMT and Vidyavihar, stopping only at major stations (Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, Kurla). They will switch back to the slow line at Vidyavihar.

   • Up Slow Trains (towards CSMT):

     Trains leaving Ghatkopar between 10:19 am and 3:19 pm will run on the fast track from Vidyavihar to CSMT, stopping at major stations.

1. Panvel-Vashi Harbour Line

   • Block Time: 11:05 am to 4:05 pm

   • Cancelled Trains:

     • Panvel to CSMT trains leaving between 10:33 am and 3:49 pm

     • CSMT to Panvel trains leaving between 9:45 am and 3:12 pm

2. Panvel-Thane Trans-Harbour Line

   • Block Time: 11:02 am to 3:53 pm (UP), 10:01 am to 3:20 pm (DOWN)

   • No trains will run between Panvel and Thane during these hours.

Alternatives:

• Special Trains: Extra trains will run between CSMT and Vashi during the block.

• Other Services: Trains between Thane and Vashi/Nerul, and between Nerul/Belapur and Uran, will continue to run.
