Congress Forms New Political Affairs Committee, Appoints MPCC Office-Bearers and District Presidents

New Delhi,The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has released a major organizational update regarding the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC). As per a press release issued today by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the Hon'ble Congress President has approved the formation of a new Political Affairs Committee along with the appointment of several new District Congress Committee Presidents across Maharashtra.

The appointments, effective immediately, aim to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence and operational efficiency in the state ahead of key political developments.

Newly Appointed District Congress Committee Presidents:

• Navi Mumbai – Smt. Punam Mithun Patil

• Dhule City – Shri. Sabir Sheikh

• Dhule Rural – Shri. Pravin Bapu Choure

• Ahilyanagar City – Shri. Deep Chavan

• Satara – Shri. Ranjit Deshmukh

• Solapur Rural – Shri. Shatgar Satling Annarao

• Hingoli – Shri. Suresh Saraf

• Latur Rural – Shri. Abhay Salunkhe

• South Ratnagiri – Shri. Naroddin Sayyad

• North Ratnagiri – Smt. Sonallakshmi Virdhaval Ghag

• Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Rural – Shri. Kiran Patil Dongaonkar

• Nanded North – Shri. Rajesh Pawade

• Nagpur Rural – Shri. Ashwin Dileep Bais

This new organizational structure is expected to enhance the Congress party's performance and coordination at the district level, bringing renewed energy and leadership to local party units.
