Mumbai, In a bid to celebrate the rich legacy and historical pride of Maharashtra, the ‘Gauravshali Maharashtra Darshan’ exhibition will be inaugurated at the Mantralaya on Monday, May 19 at 11:00 AM. The announcement was made by NCP State President and MP Sunil Tatkare at a press conference held on Sunday.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Industries Minister Uday Samant, along with several senior cabinet ministers and top government officials, are expected to attend the inaugural event.

The exhibition will remain open to ministers, officials, and the general public from May 19 to 21 and will showcase Maharashtra’s glorious journey through a variety of thematic displays. Visitors can explore the state’s ideological heritage, spiritual and cultural traditions, prominent leaders, and the milestones achieved by all Chief Ministers in the 65 years of Maharashtra’s formation. A special focus is given to the historic Samyukta Maharashtra Movement.

This exhibition is a continuation of the ‘Gauravshali Maharashtra Mahotsav-2025’, which was held earlier from May 1 to 4 at Jamboree Maidan, featuring five unique galleries titled Maharashtra’s Ideology, Maharashtra Dharma, Garja Maharashtra, Maharashtra’s Gems, and a retrospective of Chief Ministers’ tenures. Following an encouraging response—including a visit by CM Fadnavis who recommended showcasing it at the Mantralaya—the exhibition now finds its new venue.

Sunil Tatkare stated that the initiative aims to educate the youth and citizens about Maharashtra’s glorious past and its ongoing contribution to the nation. “This exhibition presents the story of Maharashtra under one roof,” he emphasized.

As part of the ongoing Mahotsav, Tatkare will pay homage at the memorial of Maharashtra’s first Chief Minister, Yashwantrao Chavan, in Karad on May 22. On May 23, tributes will be offered to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Raigad Fort, followed by a visit to Chavdar Tale in Mahad to honor Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The Mahotsav will conclude with a grand cultural event at Kande Maidan, Mahad, at 6:30 PM on the same day.

The press conference was also attended by NCP Chief Spokesperson Anand Paranjpe and State Spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare.
