India stunned fans with a thrilling 134-run win over South Africa in the 4th T20I, taking the series 3-1. In Johannesburg, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma led the charge, putting on a spectacular show that smashed several T20I records.

India posted a massive 283/1, the fifth-highest score in T20I history, and the highest ever in South Africa. Their total broke the previous record of 271/3 set by Titans in 2022. Samson and Tilak's incredible 210-run partnership for the second wicket was the first-ever double-century stand in men's T20I cricket.

Their explosive batting, along with Abhishek Sharma’s quick 36, helped India achieve a total that left South Africa struggling. The duo of Samson and Tilak became just the third pair to score centuries in the same T20I innings, joining teams from the Czech Republic and Japan.

India also set another milestone by becoming the first team to score three 250+ totals in men’s T20I cricket, surpassing teams like the Czech Republic, Japan, and Zimbabwe. The team hit 23 sixes, the third-most in T20I history—just behind Zimbabwe’s 27 sixes against Gambia.

With this historic win, India, under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, proved their dominance in the T20 format, with Samson and Tilak shining brightest on a record-breaking night.
