New Executive Committee and District Presidents of Maharashtra Pradesh Mahila Congress Announced

New Delhi,The All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) President, Alka Lamba, on October 17, 2025, announced the formation of the new Executive Committee and District Presidents of the Maharashtra Pradesh Mahila Congress. This move has been taken with the aim of strengthening the organization and enhancing its activities across the state.


State Executive Committee:


Sandhya Sawwlakhe from Yavatmal has been appointed as the State President. The Vice-President of the committee is Hemlata Meghe from Wardha. The Advisory Committee members include Shailaja Prakashbapu Patil from Sangli and Sunita Gawande from Nagpur.


The General Secretaries appointed to the committee are Anita Bhandari (Aurangabad), Archana Rajendra Bhomle (Wardha), Sangeeta Tiwari (Pune), Sunanda Dilip Dhobe (Chandrapur), Adv. Maneesha C Rote (Sangli), Dr. Anjali P Thakare (Amravati), Seema Vinod Sahare (Chandrapur), Seema Mahesh Ahuja (Thane), Ujwalaa Salve (Thane), Rina Gulshan Khandekar (Bhiwandi), Pratima Uke (Nagpur), Chandrakala Naidu (Navi Mumbai), Anita Rohitkumar Prajapati-Jadhav (Thane).


The Secretaries include Vaishali Pandurang Patio (Kolhapur), Bharti Shantaram Jalgaonkar (Panvel), Archana Abhijeet Shah (Pune), Romina M. Monitero (Amravati), Humaira Khan (Thane), Rukhsana Qureshi (Bhiwandi), and Shilpa Gangadhar Sonone (Thane).


District Presidents:

The District Presidents appointed across Maharashtra include Arti Doibale for Nanded South, Aruna Prabhakar Dhote for Wardha City, Dipali Lalaji Misal for Aurangabad City, Swati Mahesh Shinde for Pune City, and Adv. Kunda Avinash Jenekar for Chandrapur Rural. Kavita Moharkar will lead in Gadchiroli, Swati Rajesh Jadhav in Nashik, Saakshi S Vanjari in Sindhudurg, Sayali Kiran Nadhe in Chinchwad City, and Janhavi Deshmukh in Thane Rural.


Other district appointments include Kanchan Kulkarni for Kalyan, Vandana Purushottam Awari for Yavatmal, Sushma Sharadchandra Rajeghorpade for Satara, Rehana Helal Ansari for Bhiwandi, Roopa Pinto for Mira Road, Chanda Manojrao Wairagade for Chandrapur City, Pravina Ramakant Chaudhari for Vasai Virar, Jayshree Ravindra Borkar for Bhandara, Vandana Raju Kale for Gondia, Jayshree Wankhade for Amravati City, Smita Sachin Vaity for Thane City, Seema Potdar for Palghar, and Rekha Gharat for Raigarh.


A copy of this list has been forwarded to the office of the Hon’ble Congress President, Shri Ramesh Chennithala (AICC Incharge of Maharashtra), and Shri Harshwardhan Sapkal, President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, among other senior leaders.


This new organizational structure is expected to enhance the effectiveness of Mahila Congress activities in the state and provide a stronger platform for women leaders to contribute to social and political initiatives.
