Mumbai: In a recent interview, Salim Khan, father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, defended his son in the ongoing Blackbuck poaching case. He said, “I asked Salman if he was involved in the Blackbuck incident. He told me he wasn’t. In fact, he loves animals and never lies to me.”

Salim Khan added that Salman wouldn’t apologize for something he didn’t do. His statement has reignited public interest in the case, with hashtags like #Blackbuck, #SalmanKhan, and #BishnoiSamaj trending on social media.

The Bishnoi community, known for their love of wildlife and protection of Blackbucks, has been vocal throughout the legal battle, demanding justice.

The case dates back to 1998 when Salman Khan and other actors were accused of hunting endangered Blackbucks during a film shoot in Rajasthan. Despite numerous court appeals over the years, the case remains a topic of debate.

With Salim Khan’s latest comments, the focus returns to the case, as both supporters and critics of Salman share their views on social media.
