Western Railway Announces Jumbo Block on Harbour Line Between Mahim and Goregaon on November 10

Mumbai, November 8: Western Railway has announced a five-hour Jumbo Block on the Harbour Line between Mahim and Goregaon stations on Sunday, 10th November 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The block will be implemented for maintenance work on tracks, signalling systems, and overhead equipment.

As a result of the block, several local train services will be affected. All Central Railway Harbour line trains running between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Bandra, as well as between CSMT/Panvel and Goregaon, will be cancelled during the block period. Additionally, some Churchgate-Goregaon-Churchgate slow local trains will also remain cancelled.

Passengers are advised to check with station masters for further details on affected services and alternative travel options. Western Railway has stated that the maintenance work is essential for improving infrastructure and ensuring better train operations in the future.
