Central Railway Announces Mega Block on 28th April 2024

Central Railway's Mumbai Division has scheduled a Mega Block on its suburban sections for Sunday, April 28th, 2024, to facilitate various engineering and maintenance works.
The block will affect the Thane-Kalyan UP and DN slow lines from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. During this period, the following diversions and delays are expected:
DN Slow/Semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10:43 am to 3:44 pm will be diverted on DN fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations, resulting in a delay of approximately 10 minutes.
UP Slow/Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10:36 am to 3:51 pm will be diverted on UP fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations, also experiencing a delay of around 10 minutes.
Additionally, all UP and DN slow services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11:00 am to 5:00 pm will arrive/depart 10 minutes behind schedule. Thane locals will run on the proper DN slow line.
Harbour line services will also be affected:
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra DN Harbour line: 11:40 am to 4:40 pm
Chunabhatti / Bandra - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus UP Harbour line: 11:10 am to 4:10 pm
During these times:
DN Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel and Bandra/Goregaon will be suspended.
UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi and Goregaon/Bandra will be suspended.
Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
These maintenance mega blocks are crucial for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to cooperate with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
