KJC Lonavala Training Centre Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Special Children A Powerful Display of Patriotism, Sportsmanship and Social Inclusion

Lonavala (MimTimes):


The KJC Training Centre, Lonavala, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit by organising a special programme that witnessed the active participation of children with special needs. The event conveyed a strong message of inclusion, equality and social respect.


The celebration was held under the guidance of Coach Mushtaq Ahmed Sir, a 6th Degree Black Belt, four-time India Champion, National Referee, and an experienced Special Student Trainer. His leadership and dedication played a vital role in making the programme successful.


The National Flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the Guests of Honour, including:


Haji Saeed Ahmed Khan, a well-known political and social figure of Lonavala city and President, Minority Cell, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Lonavala City, and


Raees Ahmed, Chief Reporter, Mumbai Urdu News and Chief Editor, MimTimes.


Haji Saeed Ahmed Khan’s son, Nadeem Khan, was also present on the occasion.


The event saw enthusiastic participation from special children, including:


• Tejas Ingle (Autistic)


• Aishwarya Moolya (Down Syndrome)


• Farhad Giara (Autistic)


• Sanskar Dhir (Autistic)


Their confident participation and performances received warm appreciation from the audience.


The programme was further strengthened by the support of students from Mumbai Municipal Corporation schools, who are also State and National level Judo players. Participants included:


• Jenisha Baramu


• Pari Prajapati


• Pooja Phatarpekar – Judo Coach & Special Student Trainer (4th Degree Black Belt, National Player, State Gold Medalist and Referee)


• Sakshi Vaishya – 1st Degree Black Belt, State and National Judo Player


• Meher Ansari – Green Belt in Judo, second-year Degree College student


• Alok Nath Majumdar (Lonavala)


The programme featured patriotic songs, cultural performances by special children, and a festive atmosphere filled with national pride.


Organisers stated that such inclusive programmes play a crucial role in boosting the confidence of children with special needs, promoting their social participation, and helping them secure a positive, dignified and respected place in society.


The event concluded on an inspiring note with the message that every special child has the full potential to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth and development.
