Hon'ble Sports Minister Sanjay Bansode Visits NCC-DTE Maharashtra for Inspiring Sports Initiatives

On September 12, 2023, Shri Sanjay Bansode, Hon'ble Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt. of Maharashtra, arrived for his first visit to the NCC Directorate of Maharashtra. Maj Gen Y P Khanduri, ADG, NCC Dte Maharashtra, greeted him, and the NCC cadets of Mumbai presented him with a Guard of Honour. During a presentation, the Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Shivaji Conference Hall at the Directorate and was informed on the conduct of NCC activities by the DDG, Brig. V. N Kulkarni. The Minister praised the training standards provided to NCC cadets in Maharashtra and stated that the Maharashtra State Government will provide the required assistance for this essential activity of nation-building.

The Minister pledged his complete support for accomplishing the aim of obtaining the Prime Minister's Banner for Maharashtra at the RDC-2024. He also praised the workers and officials at the NCC Directorate in Maharashtra for their outstanding achievements.

The ADG presented the Hon'ble Minister with a souvenir and also felicitated chosen cadets for their outstanding performance in different training programmes at the NCC Directorate.
