Central Railway Welcomes Dr. Swapnil Dhanraj Nila as New Chief Public Relations Officer

Central Railway has announced the appointment of Dr. Swapnil Dhanraj Nila as its new Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), effective January 1st, 2024. Dr. Nila, a distinguished officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) 2011 Batch, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

A medical graduate from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Dr. Nila has a remarkable track record within the railway sector. Prior to assuming the mantle of CPRO, he served as the Senior Divisional Operation Manager in Pune Division, Central Railway, showcasing exceptional leadership and strategic acumen.

Dr. Nila's journey through various pivotal roles within Central Railway is testament to his dedication and capability. He has held key positions such as Senior Divisional Operation Manager in Bhusawal Division, Divisional Operation Manager in both Mumbai and Bhusawal Divisions, Area Manager in Bhusawal Division, and Assistant Operation Manager (Goods) in Bhusawal Division.

His commendable contributions to the railway industry have been recognized through prestigious accolades including the National Railways Award in 2019, the General Manager’s Award in 2016, and the Best IRTS Professional Award in 2014.

Dr. Swapnil Dhanraj Nila succeeds Dr. Shivraj Manaspure and steps into his new role with a commitment to further enhancing the communication and public relations efforts of Central Railway.
