Mumbai: For the first time, the Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) is inviting the public to explore the city’s rich maritime heritage through free guided tours from December 14 to 20, 2024. Organized in collaboration with The Heritage Project and Mumbai Port Sustainability Foundation, the initiative offers a rare chance to access restricted areas and learn about the port's historical and operational significance.

Dates: December 14-20, 2024
Duration: 3 hours per batch
Batch Size: 90 participants
Fee: Free of cost
Timings:
Dec 14-15: 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, 11:30 AM-2:30 PM, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM
Dec 16-20: 8:00 AM-11:00 AM, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM
Entry Point: Green Gate, Ballard Pier
The tours will showcase Mumbai Port’s evolution, significant landmarks, and ongoing operations, blending history, culture, and live activities. They are designed to be inclusive, welcoming elderly participants, individuals with special needs, and students.
